Women in Football CEO Yvonne Harrison said: "As one of the top clubs in England, Arsenal FC have continually invested in their women’s and men’s teams to ensure they compete at the highest levels on the football pitch. Becoming a corporate member of Women in Football shows that the club is also fully committed to a gender-equal future for football off the pitch.
"We welcome Arsenal with open arms as they join our growing list of corporate members. We're excited to be working with them and their employees to make football a better place for women to work and excel."
Hannah Mansour, Arsenal’s Director of ESG, said, “We’re proud of the 50/50 gender split on our Executive team, and for all the actions we’ve taken to support the growth of women’s football spanning four decades. But we know there is always more to do to support women inside and outside of our club progress their careers in football. We want all our people to feel like they belong at Arsenal, and this is rooted in connection and inclusion.
“For us, this is about taking collective responsibility for building a diverse and inclusive club – enabled by our education and training, career opportunities, and better data and insights. Our multi-year partnership with Women in Football, together with the launch of our new women’s network, are the next steps forward on this journey.”
