The Women in Football Be Inspired Conference in partnership with Barclays will be back for a second year in 2023 – and this time the event will run to a second day.

Attendees were hugely enthusiastic about the first Be Inspired in March 2022, and said they'd love to see a two-day event next time round. The WIF team is delighted to make that wish come true, and an exciting announcement about day 2 is set to follow in January.

Be Inspired 2023 will take place at Wembley Stadium again, on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 March. With the kind support of Barclays, 100 free bursary places for day 1 will be made available to WIF members who fulfil certain criteria, such as those who will be self-funding or belong to social groups that are underrepresented in the football industry. Applications are open now – please read on for more information.

At the 2022 event hundreds of WIF members enjoyed talks from star speakers including Emma Hayes OBE and Kelly Smith MBE, alongside networking and expert panels discussing a whole range of career-related topics. Bursary places: how to apply

To ensure that our conference remains as accessible as possible to women working in, or aspiring to work in, the football industry, as it was last year, Barclays will be funding 100 places for day 1 of the conference. The bursaries are only open to WIF members, but if you would like to join us at WIF Be Inspired 2023 and are not yet a member, you can join for free here.

These places will be allocated to women who fulfil one or more of the following criteria:

• Students who aspire to work in football
• Young (under 25) women who aspire to work in football but are not currently in education
• Women from underrepresented ethnic communities
• Early career WIF members who have worked in football for less than three years
• WIF members with a disability
• WIF Leadership Course alumnae (self-funding)
• Self-funding WIF
