Rainbow Laces Webinar: LGBT inclusion in sport

Join Sky Sports' reporter Jessica Creighton at a first-ever Rainbow Laces webinar to celebrate the progress Stonewall has made to ensure that every LGBT person in sport is accepted without exception.

Over the last five years, Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign has focused on improving LGBT inclusion in sport with 40 per cent of LGBT people not feeling welcome at public sporting events.

Coupled with the huge challenges of 2020, when many people have experienced heightened feelings of isolation, loneliness and poor mental health, this promises to be a positive, forward-thinking webinar on Wednesday 9 December 2020 (15:15 - 15:45 UK local time).

Jessica will host a special panel of players and professionals to discuss how sport has helped them all get through the pandemic, as well as share stories of how LGBT inclusion has played a part in their lives and impacted their sports.

Panellists confirmed so far include Premier League’s Bill Bush, professional swimmer, Michael Gunning, and Jess Fishlock, a professional footballer.

Join the webinar live by visiting Stonewall’s YouTube Channel on Wednesday 9 December 2020 at 15:15 UK local time or tune in afterwards to watch a recording of the event.
