Chloe Morgan and Jade Morgan, both Vikki Orvice Memorial Directorship Scheme recipients with Women in Football, join other outstanding candidates to be nominated for the Football Black List 2020.
The Football Black List is an initiative celebrating the most influential Black people in the British game.
Crystal Palace women’s goalkeeper, Chloe joins Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford in the Cyrille Regis Players section of the list for her tireless efforts to raise awareness of both Black representation and LGBT+ inclusion in the women’s game.
Jade, General Manager at Leicester City Women, joins Edleen John, who sits on The FA’s leadership team, Aston Villa women sporting director, Eniola Aluko and QPR director of football, Les Ferdinand in the senior administration section.
The list also celebrates Football v Homophobia Education Lead, Annette Nelson, who becomes the first recipient of a new LGBT+ Award.
Faïna Msellem, Co-founder of Lived Equity and Sports Industry Advisory Board Member at Birkbeck University, has been nominated in the Commercial section, while Jess Creighton, a Sports Reporter with Sky Sports and Charlene Gravesande, Special Projects Journalist also at Sky, are up for honours in the Media category.
