Then join trailblazing journalist and author Amy Lawrence, formerly of The Guardian and now at The Athletic, at a special free live Twitter event on Monday 16 November (20:00 GMT).
Since football fandom kicked in in the 1970s, Amy's path to football writing started as a teenager scribbling for a fanzine. After many years with the Guardian and the Observer, covering the game from grassroots to World Cup finals, she joined The Athletic in 2019.
Amy is on a special panel featuring fellow writers from The Athletic, David Ornstein and Ryan Conway, with Adam Hurrey confirmed as host for the event.
