Along with this ground-breaking support for professional women’s sport, Barclays also invested in the FA Girls’ Football School Partnerships, with the aim of ensuring all girls in England have equal access to football in schools by 2024.

Tom Corbett, Group Head of Sponsorships and Media at Barclays, said: “We’ve been delighted to see the positive response to The Game Changers and it’s great to be back with eight more influential women from the world of football to coincide with the Barclays FA WSL season.

"I can’t wait to hear more from these trailblazers.”
