Cheshire Football Centre is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee, whose profits will be reinvested into grassroots football, sports, and education in the Cheshire FA boundary area.
The company is engaged in the development of an elite and community user football, sports, and education facility at Winsford, near Northwich. A particular emphasis of the project is provision for women’s football.

The scheme is in the advanced stages of pre-planning and supported by Cheshire West & Chester Council and Cheshire County Football Association, amongst others.
The current board is looking for highly motivated individuals to join its board of directors to complement the skills, knowledge, and experience of its existing non-executive directors.
Individuals with knowledge and experience of the following in particular are sought: property development, construction, commercial enterprise, sales and marketing, accountancy, human resources, sports (in particular, women’s sport), education, charities, hospitality and leisure, health and wellbeing, and inclusion.
Non-executive directors are asked to commit between 3 to 5 days per month to the company, including board meetings and other work on behalf of the company. Once the project is fully funded, it is intended that NEDs will be remunerated at the appropriate market rate.
