At the top levels of both the men's and women's game, female and BAME* coaches continue to be significantly under-represented within key positions.
The FA is committed to changing that. They are committed to developing more opportunities for BAME and female coaches to get essential experience to challenge for coaching and technical roles in football.
As part of its Coach Inclusion and Diversity Plan, the FA has partnered with 12 professional clubs in their Club Placement Programme for the new season. This initiative offers 12 exciting academy placement opportunities for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic* and female coaches.
Reporting to the club's head of coaching, successful candidates will take on a part-time volunteer role within a club’s category 1, 2 or 3 academy. And through a carefully structured programme of learning and development opportunities they will gain invaluable experience and exposure within a professional environment.
Applications close at 17:00 (local UK time) on Wednesday 14 October.
