Introducing our new board members

Following the announcement that Kelly Simmons and Paul Barber have joined Women in Football's board, and Chloe Morgan and Jade Morgan are board apprentices as joint recipients of the Vikki Orvice Memorial Directorship Scheme, we'd like to introduce our new board members.

Kelly Simmons

Kelly was appointed Women’s Professional Game Director at The FA in September 2018 with the remit of helping deliver and transform professional women’s football in England. She oversees The FA Women’s Super League, FA Women’s Championship, FA Women’s National League and the Women’s Pyramid of Football.

Previously Kelly was The FA Director of Participation and Development, overseeing the implementation of a £200m four year investment programme into children’s and grassroots football.

She was awarded an MBE in 2002 for Services to Football and received the BT Sports Industry Award for ‘Leadership in Sport’ in 2016.

Paul Barber

Paul is Chief Executive and Deputy Chairman at Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion FC.

His career in professional football has spanned more than 20 years, during which time he has held senior positions at Vancouver Whitecaps, Tottenham Hotspur and The Football Association.

Since joining Albion, Paul has been elected to various representative roles for the Premier League, The EFL, and The FA. He is currently a member of The FA Council and also serves as one of The FA’s international ambassadors. He was also appointed to the Professional Game Board as a Premier League representative in November 2018.

Chloe Morgan

Chloe is a qualified civil litigation lawyer and has worked in London law firms full-time alongside her football career as a goalkeeper for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Now with Crystal Palace, goalkeeper Chloe has also headed up a number of initiatives during her legal career which have sought to increase the profile of the LGBT community within the sector. She has also made a number of media appearances including The Times’ ‘The Game’ Podcast and talkSPORT’s Game Day. Alongside her playing career, Chloe is also a goalkeeper coach and Diversity & Inclusion Officer for Goaldiggers FC.

Jade Morgan

Jade is General Manager at Leicester City Football Club – Women, a position she has held since January 2015. Previously the News and Digital Content Editor at Samworth Brothers, Jade also worked within the Corporate Affairs and Corporate Responsibility team at British Gas.

She has a BA in International Business and Globalisation and is currently a candidate on the Master of Business Administration - MBA Football Industries, at University of Liverpool which Jade is set to complete in September 2021.
