The Keep Up Challenge for charity - How many keepy uppys can you do?

On June 23, 2020 ‘International Olympic Day’ Housing for Women are launching their first ever virtual sporting event called the ‘Keep Up Challenge’ to raise much needed funds for its women’s services.

Housing for Women is a London-based charity which provides direct support to women fleeing domestic violence, desperate for safety for themselves and their children; women who are escaping torture and slavery; women who need support after other trauma; women leaving prison and women who would otherwise be alone in old age - living in social isolation.

And the panedemic has seen the charity's services within domestic abuse, trafficking and women living in isolation in even greater demand.

So if you want to join in the 'Keep Up Challenge' get involved by posting a video or photo of you doing as many 'Keepy Uppys' as you can, and help raise funds by asking your friends and family to sponsor you.

All funds raised will go towards maintaining the vital services offered by Housing for Women.

- Domestic Abuse Services: providing vital support for women and children escaping abuse, including refuges, support services in the community and a Crisis Helpline.

- ReConnect Project: providing support to women newly released from prison with complex needs.

- Older Women Services: providing support to reduce isolation and loneliness.

All donations raised from the 'Keep Up Challenge' will go towards supporting some of the most vulnerable women in London.
