Gabrielle Salomon, a PhD candidate at Manchester Metropolitan University, wants to hear from our members.
In October 2019, Women In Football shared the work of Gabrielle Salomon, a PhD candidate from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Gabrielle’s PhD is investigating the effectiveness that diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives have on gender equity within semi and professional football workplaces in England, Scotland, Ireland, Canada and USA.
She has got back in touch with Women in Football to share how positively her work has been received by our network, but is now needing some additional support.
Gabrielle explains “The aims of this study are to better understand how staff of all genders feel towards what is in place and to develop monitoring and evaluation systems for the future.
“With football paused at the moment, this could be a good opportunity for individuals who may be working from home to contribute."
Gabrielle is looking to hear from full-time football club employees in entry and middle management non-playing roles to participate in a survey around their experiences with these diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives.
“Individual responses remain confidential," she adds. "It's a cross-national comparison and benefits include supporting a holistic understanding of gender equity in the football industry”
If you are interested in taking part, please complete and share the survey here: https://mmu.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bPYvMdd7HXu46JT.
