Women in Football is Hiring! Read below for full details about the role.
Women in Football is looking for an administrative assistant, to work remotely for the organisation for 24 hours per week. This is a fixed term contract for six months and will pay the London Living Wage (2020: £10.75 per hour).
Women in Football is a network of professionals working in and around the football industry, who support and champion their peers. We share professional expertise, challenge discrimination and celebrate women’s achievements in a bid to bring about a change in attitude to women working in the industry and address the gender imbalance in football. We have a growing membership of over 3,000 supporters and, thanks to our partnership with Barclays, are now looking to reach more women working in football than ever before.
The Women in Football team meets in central London 1-2 times per month, so being based within easy travel of central London would be a benefit but is not essential.
We are seeking someone who is comfortable answering emails and phone calls, putting together presentations and reports, writing documents for the Women in Football board, setting up and booking meetings, taking minutes and reporting back to committees.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint would be of use, as would knowledge of social media platforms. We use Slack, Zoom, and Google Drive, so some experience of these would be a plus. However, if you don’t have experience of all of these, please don’t be put off from applying.
