Women in Football CEO Jane Purdon joins a stellar keynote panel at the Sport, Media and Gender 2020 conference to be held at Northumbria University's London Campus on Friday 17 January 2020,

The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for the knowledge exchange between scholars (from a range of disciplines), stakeholders, and practitioners who are united by a focus on sports media.

Joining Jane on the panel is Leon Mann, founder of The Black Collective of Media in Sport (BCOMS) and a great friend of Women in Football, along with Dr Beth Fielding-Lloyd, Sheffield Hallam University and Dr Stefan Lawrence, Newman University.

The event will take stock of the current position by examining notable case studies from the recent past. It aims to foster new inter- and/or post-disciplinary trajectories and scholarship/practitioner collaborations.

Registration to attend is open until Friday 10 January. Full details on how to book can be found by clicking on the link here.
