For the first time ever – all four Women in Football Leadership Courses are taking to the road!

Dr Sue Bridgewater, from University of Liverpool, will be co-hosting one of the days in Manchester.

“I left the Leadership Courses feeling inspired and empowered. It’s a great
opportunity to reflect and enhance my leadership toolbox – adding so many new
strategies and techniques, gaining new ideas and having networking opportunities
with other participants. Listening to the experiences from such significant women
within this industry and the different methods they use to bounce back and
continue building on their confidence was refreshing!”

Yes, you heard that right; for the first time in Women in Football's history, all four of our fantastic Leadership Courses are being taken out on the road!

We are delighted to announce that this incredible first will be taking place in Manchester, at the City Football Academy, from Tuesday 11 February 2020 to Friday 14 February 2020.

Working with our lead partners, Barclays, we have been able to develop further elements to our highly-regarded Leadership Course and we are committed to delivering the course around the UK to benefit even more women working in the industry.

We’ve got a fantastic line-up across the four days as well. Tuesday 11 February sees Women in Football’s chair, Ebru Köksal, sharing her personal leadership journey, as well as talking about personal effectiveness and how to develop your own management style.

On Wednesday 12 February, Ebru continues the theme by delving into confidence building, advanced negotiating and FFP-era money management. She will be joined by financial representatives from Barclays, who can help sharpen up your financial skills too.

Thursday 13 February is led by Monique Choudhuri, managing director of Career Path Training. Monique will help you work out what kind of a leader you are and how this can impact your leadership practice.

And on Friday 14 February, Dr Sue Bridgewater from University of Liverpool and Jane Purdon, CEO of Women in Football, lead sessions on the ‘Brand of You’ and becoming board ready. The day will end with Sue, Jane, Lungi Macebo (COO of Birmingham City FC) and Ebru helping you decide on next steps in your career with some personal coaching advice and planning.

We are also delighted to announce that leading executive coaching experts Management Futures have facilitated the design of a group coaching programme for alumnae of this day, meaning we can offer continued engagement and support for the first time ever.

There’s no doubt that the Women in Football Leadership Courses are incredibly powerful, and can be career-changing. To find our more, watch our video here.

You don’t need to take all the courses at once, or even in order; choose the days that feel right for you and your career. But don’t delay – we have an early bird price of £354 for 1 day; £594 for 2 days and £834 for 3 days*. If you’d like to book onto all 4 days, then the early bird price is £1,074*.

Prices go up to £420, £660, £900 and £1,140 respectively after Friday 24 January 2020*.

(*All quoted prices include VAT at 20%. Please contact us if you require further information.)

All refreshments and lunch are included, and anyone who is attending any part of the Leadership Course can join Women in Football for networking drinks at the City Football Academy on the evening of Tuesday 11 February. For those attending the ‘Brand of You’ day on Friday 14 February, the price also includes the coaching offer subsequent to completion of the course.
