Women in Football board member Lungi Macebo has been named on the 2019 Football Black List.

For the first time in its 11-year history, half of those named on the list to be celebrated are women.

Lungi, COO at Birmingham City, has been nominated in the Administration section along with Amanda Hudson (WADA), Joanie Evans (Federation of Gay Games), Sarah Ebanja (Tottenham Hotspur Foundation) and Vivienne Aiyela, a Non-Executive Director at London FA.

Other women on the prestigious list include Anita Asanta and Eni Aluko, nominated for the Cyrille Regis players award, Lorna Falconer, Head of Football Operations at Brentford in the Practitioners category and Francesca Brown, Founder of Goals4Girls, in the Community and Grassroots section.

Well done one and all - it's truly inspiring to see so many women finally get the recognition they deserve.
