Would you like to be a part of Sky Sports Football next season?

Sky Sports are offering three placements as part of their #WhaIf pledge

#WhatIf – Sky Sports pledged to create a Women in Football placement programme for external candidates to work in various roles with the Sky Sports Football team.

Well, they did - and applications are now open for this fantastic opportunity.

Would you like to be a part of Sky Sports Football next season? This is your chance! Sky Sports Football are looking for three keen individuals to be a part of their team.

Sky are offering three Placement Programme contracts to be part of their football content team in areas like; Live Outside Broadcast, In-house Broadcast; Soccer AM and Soccer Special and digital and social platforms.

They are looking for candidates who want a career in football production, are keen to learn and can bring new ideas to the table.

You will be able to show:

* Strong communication skills
* You’re a supportive team player with a positive can-do attitude
* A passionate interest in sport and media
* A great knowledge of football
* You’re creative
* You’re a quick learner
* You can work 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends

When you apply, feel free to attach to your application (or paste in web links) supporting examples of football/sport-related work you have previously done (YouTube links, blogs, articles etc)

Type of contract: One of 3 x three months paid placement 
Location: Sky Sports Studios, Isleworth, Middlesex
Assessment Date: TBC during August 2019 
Start dates: 2nd September 2019 or 2nd December 2019 or 02nd March 2020 
Eligibility: To be considered you must be at least 18 years of age, with the right to work in the UK, and able to show a strong interest in working in football. Just so you know: if your application is successful, you will be asked to complete a criminal record check. And depending on the role you have applied for and the nature of any convictions, any offer could be withdrawn.
