#WhatIf there were free open sessions for women who wanted to play football?

Get involved with free open sessions for women thanks to a great #WhatIf pledge from Firmitude.

It started out as a DM from Firmitude to Women in Football on Twitter and ended up as another #WhatIf pledge - that is how straight forward it is to get involved with our ground-breaking campaign.

Firmitude, who are based in the Bournemouth area, describe themselves as "a community for women to engage in 'incidental fitness'; physical activity where the focus in on fun and energetic mini-games".

They have now come up with a brilliant pledge that will give women an opportunity to start playing for the very first time.

Their pledge was: #WhatIf we supported women who missed out on playing youth football by offering free weekly training sessions for women beginners?

They have already put this into action and offer sessions for free to women in the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch areas.

On Monday  13 July, Firmitude will be hosting a session at Branksome Rec, Poole, Dorset, BH12 2BQ from 7pm.

They tend to move the sessions about to maximise their reach, bu further details of dates and future free sessions are posted on their Facebook group: http://facebook.com/FIRMITUDE

If you are a club, group, individual or organisation and want to find out how to get involved, or to make a pledge, please email whatif@womeninfootball.co.uk or tweet and tag us in @WomeninFootball.
