Women in Football is supporting the 2019 World Football Summit (WFS19) Industry Awards by acting as category partner for the Best Women’s Football Initiative Award.

Applications for the award are now open - so get involved!

The WFS Best Women’s Football Initiative, presented by Women in Football, is open to any organisation, group, club or NGO that has taken action to grow the women’s game professionally, making an impact within the media and also ensuring inspiration for upcoming generations.

Any group initiative that can prove/highlight a significant contribution via KPIs and sustainability can compete for the award.

The WFS Industry Awards reward football clubs, managers, agencies, sponsors, media and NGOs and are linked to the World Football Summit congress.

That means you’d be joining a prestigious group of professionals aiming to make sport an engine for social and economic change.

The awards will be handed out on the night of the first day of WFS19,  during the World Football Summit in Madrid on 24 September 2019, at Retiro Park in  Madrid.

This will be followed by a gala cocktail par, followed by a gala cocktail party where the three finalists in each category will have the opportunity to network with the summit’s speakers, partners and Corporate Pass ticket holders.
