Our #WhatIf second phase launch has already brought in some HUGE pledges from across the football industry and beyond.
Showing the power of working together, Women in Football's ground-breaking campaign continues to make a difference for girls and women in football.
From paid work placements on national newspaper to funding for 100 women's coaches to girls playing football in school, there's been some stunning pledges made already.
Here are just a few of them:
1. West Ham United – #WhatIf West Ham United pledged to share all our jobs opportunities with Women in Football?
2. League Managers’ Association - #WhatIf @LMA_Managers guaranteed a place on the LMA Diploma for all suitably qualified women coaches?
3. League Managers’ Association - #WhatIf @LMA_Managers delivered coach education events specifically for managers and coaches in the women's game?
4. London FA/Middlesex FA/ Amateur FA - #WhatIf with significant backing from WNST, the London FA, Middlesex FA & Amateur FA launch a funded coaching programme for 100 new female coaches?
5. Law in Sport – #WhatIf 50% of all speakers at all Law in Sport conferences were women?
6. The FA - #WhatIf every girl had the opportunity to play football at school.
7. Chris Brindley - #WhatIf I give a talk at a @WomeninFootball conference on personal development and growth.
8. Mischcon de Reya - #WhatIf Mishcon de Reya ran a Sports Law Academy for women working in the football industry @MishconSport
9. Sports Marketing Surveys - #WhatIf Sports Marketing Surveys Inc. helped @WomeninFootball to undertake a survey of its membership?
10. Women in Football - #WhatIf we mentored and supported a woman to become board ready by working with our board for a year as The Vikki Orvice Director Development Scheme?
11. Deloitte - #WhatIf Delotte was to use our profile and reputation within the football industry to bring greater insight on the women's game in order to assist the development and commercial position of women's football.
12. Crawley Old Girls - #WhatIf @CrawleyCOGS pledged to run another National Women's Recreational event in 2020 to get more females aged 35+, especially 40-60yr olds, interested in playing and watching women's football?
13. Burnley Women's FC - #WhatIf @BurnleyFCWomen pledge to have a female coach working at every age group of the club providing outstanding role models and mentoring for our young female players.
14. Burnley Women's FC Head Coach, Matt Bee - #WhatIf I pledged to continue supporting women coaches to achieve their potential and secure opportunities whenever possible.
15. Sky Sports - #Whatif @SkySports create a #WomeninFootball season-long development programme for external candidates to work in various roles with the @SkySports football team.
16. Kicking & Screening - #WhatIf @ksfilmfest pledges to ensure every female festival team member receives personal mentoring time from a female professional in the film, football media, or football.
17. University of Liverpool - #WhatIf the University of Liverpool offered 2 full-fee scholarships to women on its Football Industries MBA?
18. talkSPORT - #WhatIf @TalkSport covered the #WWC2019 in depth over the summer and supported the @FAWSL with multiple programming strands across the 2019/20 season?
19. Doublepass - #WhatIf @doublepass football experts provide pro-bono a co-creation journey @ a Women's football team/club?
20. Equal Playing Field - #WhatIf we helped hundreds of people around the world make their own #WhatIf pledges to create an Equal Playing Field?
21. Twitter - #Whatif Twitter creates fandoms by shining the spotlight on the players during the Women’s World Cup.
22. Lewes FC - #WhatIf we offered free training to the coaches of all Sussex junior girls' teams? (Delivered by our First Team manager/coaches)
23. Common Goal - #WhatIf we commit to reach parity at streetfootballworld membership (2+ million) in 2019/20 season.
24. Common Goal - #WhatIf we stage a landmark event that will promote football's collective contribution to the SDGs and at the core of it will be a mixed gender high level football match.
25. Brighton and Hove Albion - #WhatIf we increase our funding of our women’s and girls’ teams?
26. Brighton and Hove Albion - #WhatIf we continue to play one women’s team game per season at the main stadium?
27. Brighton and Hove Albion - #WhatIf we showcase the fantastic work done by women at our club across our communications channels?
28. Switch The Play - #WhatIf Switch the Play ran personal development masterclasses for women working in football and playing football?
29. Sports Technology Group - #WhatIf the Sports Technology Awards Group were to establish the Best Technology for Female Sports Performance category at the 2020 Sports Technology Awards?
30. Watford Ladies - #WhatIf @watfordladiesfc worked with the Watford FC men’s team to set up a showcase of their skills at half time at a men’s first team home game in 2019/20?
31. UCFB - #WhatIf UCFB gave a scholarship to develop female leaders in the game?
32. Telegraph (Womens Sport) – #WhatIf @WomensSport ringfenced two paid work experience roles for women this summer as part of our commitment to championing new voices, and hosted two events to diversify the sports media.
33. FIFPro - #WhatIf @FIFPro help change the landscape for women in the game by supporting the community of #WhatIf pledgers? Watch this space …
34. Cognicity - #WhatIf @Cognacity brought the expertise in mental wellbeing and performance that we deliver to professional @WomeninFootball and took it to women in the grassroots game?
