Rosie and Mollie Kmita light up the night in London's Piccadilly Circus as Twitter celebrate #IWD with Women in Football
What an inspiring, uplifting and incredible International Women's Day it turned out to be!
We are delighted and proud that our Chair, Ebru Köksal, has been included in the 2019 Muslim Women in Sport Power List.
The day just got better as it went on, and if you missed our two fantastic Q&As on Twitter with Arsenal and England striker Danielle Carter, plus WiF CEO Jane Purdon, you can catch up with everything they said by clicking on the link here.
From Bashment to Brexit, from Sunderland to sexism - there were plenty of topics covered.
To round off an amazing day - we ended up in lights at Piccadilly Circus in London's West End too, with football players Mollie and Rosie Kmita featured.
Mollie, who plays for West Ham United, took to Twitter to express her joy.
Couldn’t have asked for a better end to #IWD2019. Thank you so much @TwitterUK & #womeninfootball for making it happen. So grateful to the team @TongueTT for everything.

Huge thanks to Viv Bowdler and our friends at Twitter for sorting out. We could get used to this quite easily!
