Women of Africa Special - take a listen to latest Rabonas & Rhythms podcast

Rabonas & Rhythms - latest podcast features Women of Africa Special

Are you passionate about music and football? Then the latest podcast by Alex Lawson and James Labous could be music (and words!) to your ears.

In the latest episode of their podcast Rabonas & Rhythms, London-based Alex and James celebrate "Women  of Africa" in a 35-minute special show, looking back at Nigeria's recent triumph at the Africa Women's Cup of Nations and discussing the dearth of female coaches at the top of the women’s game with Goal.com journalist Samuel Ahmadu

The duo also meet up with rising Liberian star Angie TonTon at Senegalese legend Thion Seck’s studio in Dakar to discuss why it’s hard to be heard internationally as a female musician and hear about the personal help she’s received from president George Weah. She also sings a superb acapella.
