The NCTJ will be using social media to signpost students towards accredited undergraduate courses.

The National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) is launching a campaign to signpost potential journalism students to accredited courses with spaces available through clearing.

A-level students are handed their results on Thursday 16 August and the NCTJ will be supporting its centres by posting information about spaces available at a variety of journalism courses across the UK.

Any students who did not get the results they expected – either higher or lower - can check the NCTJ’s website and Twitter feed to find out which courses are still taking on students.

All NCTJ-accredited courses lead to the industry-recognised Diploma in Journalism, providing an essential foundation for students who strive for excellence.

The NCTJ will be using social media to signpost students towards accredited undergraduate courses, as well as fast-track, part-time and academic year courses to suit different needs.

From now until 23 October, students can apply for a course using clearing if they are not already holding an offer from a university or college, and the course still has places.

For more information and to apply to a course through clearing, visit: www.ucas.com/clearing

You can also follow the NCTJ on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for NCTJ clearing updates.
