Barclays' riverside HQ in Canary Wharf - the stunning setting for our Level 1 course
Women in Football will head back to the 30th floor at Barclays’ HQ in Canary Wharf for its sixth Leadership Workshop on Thursday 6 September.
The course, which runs from 8.30am – 5.30pm at Barclays HQ, (1 Churchill Place, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HP), is designed to develop critical leadership skills, including negotiation and decision-making as well as project and time management for professional women working across the football industry.
Highly respected ex-FIFA and UEFA Consultant Ebru Köksal will host the day, sharing her personal experience and expertise. She will also be joined by a guest speaker (tbc).
The course is designed to cover maximum learning and help women occupy executive positions in football by developing the skills they need to help fulfil their leadership potential.

We are offering for ‘newcomers’ to go on both courses for £550.

Ebru Köksal
Ebru began her professional career in New York, as a financial analyst in corporate finance at Morgan Stanley, and served as a senior manager at Citibank and AIG between 1992-2000.
Since joining Galatasaray Football Club in 2001, Ebru held several senior positions and following the merger of the football, stadium and marketing companies in 2010, she was appointed the General Manager of the merged entity, Galatasaray Sportif A.
Ebru is the first and only woman to be elected to the Executive Board of European Club Association and served as the Vice Chairwoman of the Institutional Relations Working Group. In October 2011, she was appointed as the General Secretary of the Turkish Football Federation. She was the recipient of the Executive of the Year Award 2011 by Stadium Business Awards.
She is currently a Senior Advisor at J Stern & Co, Board Member at Doublepass BV and MNT Healthcare, Equality and Diversity Advisory Board Member at Scottish FA and founding member of 30% Club Turkey.
Ebru is a graduate of Brown University, with a dual degree in Economics and International Relations. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a graduate of Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, May 2017.
