Emma Hayes MBE - guided Chelsea Women to League and Cup double success last season

Emma Hayes MBE has been named on the shortlist for The Best FIFA Women's Coach 2018 award.

Chelsea boss Emma led the Blues to a superb Women's Super League and FA Cup double last season and is widely regarded as one of the best coaches in the business.

Emma is joined on the shortlist by former Blues coach Mark Parsons, who guided Portland Thorns to the National Women's Soccer League championship in the United States.

Other nominees include Wolfsburg coach Stephan Lerch and Sarina Wiegman, whose Holland team won the Euro 2017 Championships on home soil.

The 10 shortlisted candidates were selected by a panel of football experts, and fans are now also able to cast their vote until 10 August.  Fans' votes will count for 25 per cent of the total ballot. The remaining 75 per cent will be distributed evenly between the national coaches of FIFA Member Associations, their team captains and a select group of football journalists from those countries.

The winners of all the categories will be announced at FIFA's official awards ceremony in London on September 24.
