From pitch-side at Watford to the World Cup Final - Emma Saunders proves that with hard work, dedication, professionalism and opportunity, dreams really can come true.

Emma, who is a regular on the matchday PA at Vicarage Road, has got the job of introducing the teams at the World Cup Final on Sunday 15 July.

Having initially thought her services introducing the teams would be required only for the group stage of the World Cup, Emma was asked to stay on for the knockout phase. She announced the England team ahead of their dramatic 4-3 victory on penalties against Colombia, before watching the game from the sidelines.

“This really is a dream come true,” she said. “It’s incredible. I could not be more proud and thrilled.

"Who would have thought it, from Watford to the World Cup final? It's an amazing opportunity.

"When I came here I thought I was only doing the group stages in Kaliningrad so it’s a really special surprise that I am now in Moscow and that it has turned into this, the World Cup Final!"
