Chelcee Grimes - heading to the top as a footballer and musician
There really seems to be no limit to the talents of Chelcee Grimes who, not content with starring for Fulham Ladies, is now forging a successful career in music too.
Chelcee, who was born in Liverpool, has already written chart hits for global artists such as Kylie Minogue (Million Miles), BoA (First Time) and The Saturdays (Walking Through The Desert).
The multi-talented singer, signed to music giants RCA, has been working with This Fan Girl ahead of her debut single release, Just Like That.
The collaboration between Chelcee and This Fan Girl has resulted in a fascinating short documentary, produced by up and coming visual auteur Mr. Kenzo.
Described as "ripping up the rule book entirely", Chelcee talks openly about how she got into football by playing for the Liverpool U10s, her early love for music blossoming into a music career and being dropped after six months of signing her first deal.
The film also follows her to her hometown of Liverpool and captures memories of first watching her beloved Reds in action at Anfield. Chelcee also opens up about her optimism for gender equality in the beautiful game, and the barriers that still affect women in football.
