LGBT+ Inclusion in Sport Conference

Sessions and workshops will offer the latest insight into motivations and attitudes of LGBT+ people to sport and physical activity

Do you work in physical activity, sport, health or education - or all four? Then the LBGT+ Inclusion in Sport Conference could be invaluable to you.

Hosted at Villa Park, home of Aston Villa FC, the event is scheduled for Friday 13 July from 9am - 4pm.

Sessions and workshops offer the latest insight into motivations and attitudes of LGBT+ people to sport and physical activity & strategies for engagament.

Workshops:

  • Including trans & non-binary participants
  • Making school PE LGBT+ inclusive
  • Including older LGBT+ people in community sport
  • Engaging LGBT+ people in sport & physical activity; strategies for success

Closing Plenary:

L/G/B/T – Segmentation & Intersection, a panel discussion (the diverse experience of LGBT+ people & sport) looking at the diverse experiences of what is often considered a homogenous ‘community’.
