Lucy Bronze has been named as one of five nominees for this year's BBC Women's Footballer of the Year.

The former Manchester City right-back, who scored the opener as Manchester City beat Birmingham City 4-1 to win the Women's FA Cup in May 2017, now plies her trade with Olympique Lyonnais.

Lucy is joined on the short list by Pernille Harder (Wolfsburg and Denmark), Sam Kerr (Chicago Red Stars/Perth Glory and Australia), Dzsenifer Marozsan (Olympique Lyonnais and Germany) and Lieke Martens (Barcelona and Netherlands).
