Taking a stand: A discussion of racism and sexism in football

Sports diversity consultant Michelle Moore will host WiF's event on Monday 5 March

Date - 5 March 2018

Time - 6 – 9pm

Venue - The Library, 112 St Martin’s Lane, London WC2N 4BD

Ahead of International Women’s Day we hear from a prestigious panel sharing their experiences of being a woman of colour in our national game, the sports industry and wider society.

With racism and sexism in football hitting the headlines last year, sports diversity consultant Michelle Moore hosts a timely debate on the cultural issues driving the massive underrepresentation of women of colour across the football industry – from boardrooms to media outlets, backroom staff and players on the pitch – and asks what we can do as individuals and organisations to bring about change.

This event is for people who are interested in diversity, want to work in an inclusive environment and would like to understand more about the barriers and solutions to achieving that.

Essential for decision makers and influencers.
