Join Prospect Union at the launch of their new short film on 15 January
Women in Football work closely with Prospect Union to improve the prospects of women working in football and supporting those who already do.
Our members, who receive a special three month free membership to Prospect Union (details here), have been invited to attend the launch of their new short film - tackling unconscious gender bias in school age children - which features former England international and current Betfair Ambassador, Rachel Yankey OBE.
The event will be held between 5 - 8pm on Monday 15 January at UCL Institute of Education, London WC1H 0AL and also features a discussion on what modern workplaces can do to 'break the bias barrier'. Key note speakers at the event include Joanne McCartney, Deputy Mayor of London and Kathleen Tyler, CEO of Digital Mums.
All are welcome to attend this event, which is especially suitable for those with an interest in education, gender bias, equal-opportunity careers or modern HR practices. As well as the film screening and speeches, there will also be an opportunity for networking drinks and discussion.
The event is free, but attendees are kindly to make a small (£1 or more) donation to Save the Children when booking your ticket or on the night itself.
Places are strictly limited so please register here to secure your place.
