Dame Heather Rabbatts announced as new Women in Football ambassador

Dame Heather Rabbatts - announced as an ambassador for Women in Football

Dame Heather Rabbatts says she is "proud and honoured" following the announcement she has become an ambassador for Women in Football.

Former Millwall Executive Deputy Chair Heather, also the first woman to be appointed as a director of The FA, joins a distinguished list of ambassadors such as Annie Zaidi and Janie Frampton.

Speaking to www.womeninfootball.co.uk Heather said: “I am proud and honoured to be the ambassador for Women in Football and to be part of a movement that champions women’s roles throughout the football industry at all levels.

“The vast amount of talent already in the industry is awe inspiring and I am determined to help the organisation to share professional expertise, effectively challenge discrimination and celebrate women’s achievements in the months and years ahead."
