Every fan of every team knows there’s something that makes their club special, that’s certainly true in women’s football where many clubs are held together by the great work of volunteers and communities.
For the first time, the First Ever Women’s Football Yearbook captures everything that we love about the beautiful game with what promises to be a must-have addition to any book collection.
From the glitz and glamour of the Women’s Super League – which has grown in size, stature, and prestige since its launch in 2011 - to grassroots level, it’s true to say the players, staff, officials and supporters of every club in England have played their part in raising the profile of women’s football in recent years.
Compiled by BBC Sport journalists Chris Slegg and Tom Garry, and with a foreword by WiF board member and leading broadcast journalist Jacqui Oatley, the yearbook is a celebration of all that is great about the game.
