Sport Industry NextGen in partnership with Barclays identifies tomorrow’s leaders, rewards their potential and nurtures their talent - and entries are now open for this fantastic free to enter programme.

This initiative aims to discover the rising industry stars, who will receive a dedicated Leadership Package to better equip them for future leadership roles, including a business support package, regular professional networking opportunities and personal development and mentoring.

Entries close on 15th September, with the 2018 group announced on 28th September 2017.

WHY?

This programme is for young people who have already shown evidence of leadership potential, but want to fulfil it. The Leadership Package offers incredible training and development opportunities to help build a powerful network of likeminded peers.

Sport Industry NextGen Leader, Hala Ousta, diversity & inclusion manager at the Scottish Football Association and WiF Board Member, said: “For anyone thinking about applying for Sport Industry NextGen in 2018, definitely go for it.

"There are so many different experiences and lessons you can learn from it, as well as empowering you to become a better leader and learn more about yourself. It’s an experience that will absolutely help you in the future.”

WHO?

The focus is on entrants aged 30 years or younger who work within the sport industry and aspire to grow their network, experience and knowledge for responsible leadership that will help drive the sport industry forward. Entrants must enter on their own behalf and be based in the UK. Check out the Sport Industry NextGen Leaders 2017 and 2016

The 2018 Sport Industry NextGen Leaders will begin their year at Sport Industry NextGen Unlocked, officially introducing the selected few to the industry as a group for the first time. The evening event offers an opportunity for every year of Sport Industry NextGen Leaders to network with other senior members of the industry, as well as hear from previous Leaders and special guest speakers.
