Attendees at this week's inspiring Women in Football Leadership Workshop
Women in Football's second Leadership Workshop was hailed as "inspiring" and "engaging" following Monday's event at Mishcon de Reya in London.
Board Member and FIFA Consultant Ebru Köksal hosted the day and was joined by Jane Purdon, Sport Lawyer and former Director of Governance at the Premier League, plus Women in Football Chair Anna Kessel.
Attendees at the Workshop were selected from a pool of applicants from the Women in Football Network, and reflected the wide range of experiences and backgrounds of our members.
An intensive day full of presentations, discussions and group work covered topics such as Leadership, Negotiating, Time Management, Project Management, Decision Making, Networking, Women in Leadership and Influencing Others.
Speaking after the event, Ebru Köksal said: "It was a great mix of backgrounds, formidable women with impressive careers who have real drive to make a difference.
"There were open, honest conversations that significantly contributed to peer learning."
Those sentiments were echoed by Jane Purdon and Niamh O'Mahony, who both took to Twitter to add their thoughts about the day.
"A wonderful, lively and engaging group on this year's Women in Football leadership programme, pleasure to meet them," commented Jane, whilst Niamh said "Excellent day spent at @WomeninFootball leadership workshop earlier. So many inspirational stories & amazing women."
We hope to host another Leadership Workshop in the autumn so please check the website and Twitter @WomeninFootball for further updates.
