England captain Steph Houghton and Arsenal midfielder Jordan Nobbs are just two players who will feature in a special Panini sticker collection, released to coincide the Women's European Championships.

It is the first time that the tournament, which will be held in Holland from 16 July to 6 August, has been backed by an official sticker collection and further steps up Panini's engagement with women's football.

In 2011, a staggering 4.5million packets of Panini stickers were sold within a fortnight in Germany during the Women's World Cup whilst four years later a similar offering proved hugely popular when the tournament was hosted in Canada.

Favourites such as Steph, Jordan, Jane Ross of Manchester City, plus prolific German striker Anja Mittag are among the big-names in the new Euro 2017 official sticker collection, featuring players from the 16 teams – including England and Scotland – along with facts, biographies and a double-page spread on the history of the game.

Panini will also launch a digital trading card collection for the tournament, in the format of a desktop online game that can also be experienced via mobile app and Facebook.

Supporters who wish to collect Euro 2017 stickers will be able to do so by purchasing a starter pack, which includes the 40-page album and four packets of stickers.
