London Female Football Network - book your place now on a Refereeing Workshop

Inspired by female officials such as Sian Massey-Ellis? Book now to attend a refereeing workshop

Have you ever wondered why certain decisions are made by officials in a game? Perhaps you get frustrated because you think you could do the job better?

Well now is your chance to get involved!

The London Female Football Network (LFFN) is a joint venture between the AFA, London FA, Middlesex FA and The FA Coach Mentor Programme and this week, they announced the second in a series of workshops; Get Into Refereeing.

The workshop, which will be held on Monday 19th June at UCL Bloomsbury Theatre, 15 Gordon Street, WC1H 0AY, is open to any female interested in refereeing and those wanting to find out a bit more about what is involved.

This two hour workshop, which is free, will cover topics such as:

  • How to get started with your refereeing
  • Benefits of refereeing
  • Experiences from female referees currently officiating in the game
  • Career options
  • Upcoming female only opportunities
