Anna Kessel and Jacqui Oatley kick-off the London Festival of Football Writing.
The inaugural London Festival of Football Writing, in association with Waterstones Tottenham Court Road, kicks off on Tuesday 16th May (6.30pm).
Women in Football Chair Anna Kessel MBE joins journalist Carrie Dunn and fellow WiF board member Jacqui Oatley MBE, who will chair the event, to discuss the current state of women's football in England.
The panel are guaranteed to bring their analysis, expertise and insight on what the future holds for women's football, from the big bucks and big names of the Women’s Super League, to the state of grassroots clubs in elite divisions.
They will also discuss England’s chances in the upcoming UEFA Women’s Euro 2017, and should the team exceed expectations, what level of respect, recognition and reward they can expect.
The festival, which runs from 16th - 20th May, sees the likes of Jonathan Wilson, Anthony Clavane, Mina Rzouki, Philippe Auclair, Steve Tongue - and more - involved.
All events, which take place in the basement of Waterstones Tottenham Court Road, will consist of approximately 45 minutes of discussion between panelists, with 30 minutes audience Q&A.
