Football coach and WiF supporter Lois Fidler, amongst the few women in the world to gain a UEFA Pro Licence, is one of the guest speakers confirmed for the Female Coaching Conference at Surrey Sports Park on Saturday 29th April.
The FCN, in partnership with Project 500, are hosting the one of a kind conference in which up to 100 female coaches of all levels from around the world will connect, share and develop together throughout the day as they listen to top coaches from hockey and soccer.
The attendees can also take part in interactive workshops with sports therapists and coaches from track and field.
There will be an opportunity for all coaches involved to share their own knowledge and make the day as interactive as possible so that coaches of all experiences and sports can take away tips and advice from each other.
The day will be finish off with ‘An Audience With’ panel discussion with five female coaches from a range of grassroots and performance level sports and a networking event giving all involved time to network.
The aim is to connect those female coaches attending and to not only present them with a supportive arena in which to develop on the day, but provide them a platform to stay connected and share their own experiences in the future.
The day's conference will be followed up with a programme of webinars and various other interactive online resources to support the coaches along their own journeys of development in the future.
