WIF is delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for members to attend a groundbreaking Ladies In Sport Conference (LIS), to be held in Nigeria this June.

Broadcaster Tega Onojaife, a leading figure in the fight to get more women involved in sport in Nigeria, has teamed up with the British High Commission in Lagos to host the LIS Conference.

Speakers already confirmed to attend are Benny Bonsu (Director of Girls In Sport Foundation), Ita Bassey (brand manager of Star Lager), and Super Falcons player Onome Ebi.

Tega said: "We are very keen to strengthen our ties with WIF and women in sport in the UK. The LIS Conference provides a perfect opportunity for us to do so.

"We would like to invite guest speakers  to attend; those with club management, TV/Broadcast experience, or specialising in fan interaction, who can share their experiences in an engaging and positive way.

"Flights and accommodation would also be provided for our guest speakers.

"This is a great opportunity to work together and help support women's football and sport in Nigeria."

If you are interested in participating, or simply would like to find out further information, please contact Tega via email on tonojaife@gmail.com
