Shehneela Ahmed heads to Hollywood's LA Galaxy as 'The Chosen One'

In football we have seen it all football transfer records being broken, great news stories and not forgetting England's ladies football team doing so well in last year's World Cup, they inspired the whole nation.

Hollywood for Shehneela?  Well for Shehneela Ahmed she has made history, chosen by David Kammarman, LA GALAXY's Director of Soccer operations to assist the club building a team around the iconic no.8 STEVEN GERRARD for next season, and assisting the club in all football activities in the Premier League, a wonderful and fantastic news for women in sport.
"Absolutely excited" Shehneela Ahmed had this to say "to be given this great opportunity to work alongside LA Galaxy it's an honour and privilege, absolutely excited and looking forward to this great journey".

"I've not had time to reflect back on the last 2 years let alone digest LA Galaxy opportunity, It's been one hell of a roller coaster ride and journey for me, an opportunity to be working with such a big club, I've been assisting scouts and managers here in England, I never imagined the MLS clubs". said Shehneela Ahmed.

MLS club LA Galaxy are no small club, popularised in England by another England star David Beckham, amongst other big names, and capturing Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.  The deal of the agreement between LA Galaxy and Shehneela Ahmed is confidential. She is now officially the eyes and the ears for LA GALAXY - For Shehneela it's world class achievement.  She is now going to Hollywood where LA Galaxy are based.

She will work with premier league managers and other clubs in England dealing with transfers and new signings for LA Galaxy.

Great advert for women in football -

"It's a great opportunity for women in football making history globally.  This journey full of opportunities which I have achieved is a result of the good team who I have behind me! They are my guardian angels without them and without my parents none of this would had been possible".

"I just want to thank David and his team at LA Galaxy for trusting me and giving me this unique and wonderful opportunity, I shared the news first with my team and my family before sharing it with you all". said Shehneela Ahmed

La Galaxy are just a stone’s throw away from where some of the most legendary Hollywood stars have lived.  Elvis Presley was just two roads away in the historic Trousdale Estates district of Los Angeles.  Frank Sinatra was also a resident there, as was legendary film star.

Shehneela Ahmed set her journey to the unknown when she left Rochdale at the age of 17 to pursue her dream becoming a Criminal Lawyer Advocate.  Shehneela Ahmed went on and made history by becoming Britain's and World's first Asian female football agent for the English FA.  A script written beautifully for movie producers, not for one moment did she realise the world will be watching her as a lawyer football agent.  Shehneela Ahmed's story is one for the Hollywood producers, who knows one day she may be heading towards a Oscar nomination.   Whatever it is, a wonderful inspiring achievement and fabulous news for women in sport.
